What is the Opioid Settlement?

Maine is receiving $230 million in opioid settlement funding, which is being divided across counties and municipalities. These funds are intended to help Mainers impacted by the opioid epidemic regain control of their lives through treatment, recovery, and prevention programs.

What is the MOSS Center?

The Maine Opioid Settlement Support Center is a team of applied researchers, evaluators, and policy analysts who are passionate about improving the health and well-being of individuals and communities impacted by substance use. In order to support Maine communities in their use of opioid settlement funds, the MOSS Center provides consultation, resources, training, and evidence-based technical assistance.
